Total bid depth is a market-data metric BlackForge measures for every listed pair on nine spot exchanges, once per closed five-minute window. All resting buy liquidity in the order book we maintain for that venue. It reports what the order book or trade tape showed, not what price will do next.

How is Total bid depth measured?
BlackForge computes Total bid depth from each venue’s own order book and trades for every listed pair, once per closed five-minute window, and records it as quote. Because it is quote-relative, it is expressed in the pair’s quote asset. The value is stored exactly as observed.
